Thread: S.M.A.R.T. How is this considered good?

the read error rate (1st attribute) 161778 , goes every read/write yet disk utility says passing
using ubuntu 10.04

according page, read error rate higher better, lower worse. strange scale used calculate number see. http://www.z-a-recovery.com/man-smart.htm according wikipedia, smart isn't standardized yet, wouldn't worry unless have reason believe disk getting close failure.
