Thread: Toshiba Satellite, Acer Aspire or Acer Timeline?!

hi all!

i'm looking getting new laptop , having trouble deciding between following:

- acer aspire 4820t (14", refurbished)
- acer travelmate timeline 8372t (13.3", new)
- toshiba satellite r830-10c (13.3", new)

have experience running ubuntu on of these? i'm particularly interested in compatilibity of graphics, wireless, , sd card reader.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
