Thread: Ubuntu 11.10 to Lubunto 11.10?

hello,

have old machine (compaq presario 700z 1.4ghz, 256mb ram) has dual boot win xp , ubuntu 11.10. want install lubuntu 11.10 because of lighweight , @ same time delete windows xp gain drive space , remove ubuntu (too heavy run on machine).

best way install? windows pendrive linux/wubi or ubuntu (not sure how ubuntu)?

note cd rom not work , cannot boot usb..

if read post correctly, want install lubuntu cd drive not work , cannot boot flash drive. proverbial creek. easiest way install use whole hard drive, cannot boot either cd or flash drive. can borrow external cd drive friend?
