Thread: UBUNTU print server for ipad using network printer

i have done searching, have not been able find answer specific problem. have dell 3100cn connected network. able provide print server running on ubuntu enable daughter's ipad print it. have seen posts describe how printer attached linux box via cups / avahi, not remote server. have ideas on how might achieved? have found similar requests around samba print server, not turning answers.

this looks correct procedure archlinux

need replace pacman -sy apt-get install

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
