Unable to move question slide up filmstrip

i'm missing simple here, after trying off , on 2 days thought i'd ask. need question slide after slide 9. use insert ->question slide-> multiple choice , slide in @ position 26. attempt click , drag slide 9/10 position , not drop there. after testing, appears cannot drag above slide 25, locked, don't have grouped, etc cause issue. thoughts?

i cannot think of reason why not possible.  find when drag slides or down filmstrip need in small jumps.  able drag quiz slide 3 or 4 slide positions @ time , make lower slide 26?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
