in trying register computer nook downloads, went authorize on ade, put in id, password , clicked on 'authorize' , got this: activation server error, code: e_auth_not_ready. do now?

for error : e_auth_not_ready.

 

follow these steps,

 

1. launch adobe digital editions

 

2. keeping ade program active on screen, hold ctrl+shift+d keys.

 

     - prompt window erase authorization (ade 2.0) & deauthorize (ade 1.7.2)

 

     - deauthorize ade , re-launch it.

 

3. navigate > authorize computer (in ade 2.0) & library > authorize ( in ade 1.7.2, prompted authorize when launch program ) .

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
