How do I preserve file dates

hey all,

 

using dw cs6 12.0.3

 

when download file server (for example dated feb 1st 2012) updates date on local file current date. not want this. need file maintain server date until editted.

 

i'd appreciate if can tell me how this. i've spent way time trying it.

 

note: in stand alone ftp program have option 'preserve file dates'

dw's ftp not robust dedicated ftp client. 

my advice use 3rd party ftp preserve file dates when need them.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
