How to add a working bar cod in a pdf form?

i able create bar code using adobe acrobat. working perfect in acrobat viewer. when open same form adobe reader, after filling corresponding fields, bar code disappears , grey box appears. here attached image of pdf form. 1 before filling form , 1 after filling form.1.png2.png

 

what need do? please me it's urgent.please me.

in order 2d bar code fields work in reader, form has extended livecycle reader extensions including barcode usage right. enabling acrobat not sufficient. unfortunately, rather expensive.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
