Premiere crashes when making a new sequence from prores files

i have been trying work 1920x1080 prores lt files in premiere have done before reason unable now.  can import files project when attempt create new sequence clip spinning wheel , whole system freezes up.  have force quit.  can help?

 

i using...

adobe cs6

mac osx 10.8.3

12-core intel

12gb ram

have tried standard mac repairs? delete preferences prp , repair permissions mac.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
