Thread: 4 gb of ram but only detects 2gb?

hey guys have ubuntu 11.10 , when go system monitor says has 2gb ram. have 32 bit istallation. wondering how can fix it?

hi there! computer support 64-bit installation? if so, best option. 32-bit kernel doesn't detect ram on 2.5gb (as far know, please correct me if i'm wrong).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
