i'd able prevent package being installed. package causing problems on system wondering if there possibly way block package (to able prevent its' installation). has heard of this?

there ways little more info needed here. talking package being install default when install ubuntu or 1 being updated in synaptic? procedure different each.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
