Thread: Password recovery problem

hi. after while using windows forgot password ubuntu on login screen. ive looked in google metod on site: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/resetpassword
doesnt work (some kind of token problem)and when try configure shadow file after booting cd, in /etc cant find account name( name on login administrator there not such name in shadow file)
how can solve this?

what mean "some kind of token problem" when tried psychocats method?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
