Thread: Software Center Crashes

i having trouble ubuntu software center(in ubuntu 11.10), whenever try open it, starts load , opens frame , buttons, none of content, goes gray. when try close it, have force quit it. started happening after crashed trying install oracle database 11g r2. tried apt-get purge it, , reinstall it. after did started terminal , continued crash in same manner. below terminal output when ran.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
