Thread: Touchpad freak out on panp8

i have panp8 , i've had touchpad freak out on me, jittering severely left , right. able wrestle enough computer restarted, didn't go away after starting up. plugged in mouse , got touchpad disabled with:

xinput set-prop 12 "device enabled" 0
turning on causes same problems again, i'm leaving off now. ideas on cause this? haven't done big software installs today. way fix it?

and everything's working fine again.

still, reports of or causes it?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
