Thread: /usr is full

i'm running kubuntu 11.10, 64 bit, kernel 3.0.0-14-generic /usr on separate partition - 4,7 gb. /usr full , can't install programs , debbuging symbols. i've tried "apt-get clean", "apt-get autoclean" , "apt-get autoremove", /usr still full. how can have empty space on /usr partition?

if must have /usr on separate partition, give @ least 10gb. if that's not possible, consider minimal installation, while staying away full blown des gnome or kde, metapackages ubuntu-desktop or kubuntu-desktop.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
