Acrobat Pro X 10.1.6 crashing regularly.

acrobat pro x 10.1.6 crashing regularly.  have cs5.5 on 1 machine , cs6 (cloud) on other; both crashing acrobat.  it's general 'encountered issue . . ' failure, dep.  see number of acrobat x crashing issues, related cs6.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
