Boycott Creative Cloud?

if haven't heard, cs6 last cs version. on, have rent applications via creative cloud. don't new subscription model. have bought every cs upgrade since version 1, looks cs6 end me, if means keeping old computer around run cs6 applications.

 

perhaps adobe change mind in few months if avoided signing subscription. in case, they've created real opportunity competitors.

don't know boycott, i'm not subscribing. i'm serious photography hobbyist, typically upgrade lightroom whenever updates , upgrade photoshop every couple of years. no more; prices high. i've read similar comments other hobbyist users, , suspect there's lot more of there pros. maybe adobe thinks can afford lose hobby market. adios, adobe.

 

this irksome. birthday coming up, , working on seeing if swmbo spring photoshop cs6 upgrade gift. discover crap.

 

this great opportunity company. perhaps creative cloud adobe's windows 8.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
