Brush Tool: Click - Shiftclick for straight line Issue (picture)

often in photoshop need create straight line wacom pen. problem there seems no method madness. readible straight line, other times creats line thats faint have go on multiple times. line circled in red attached post illustrates problem.

 

the line tool not substitute this, since simulated of pen pressure using brush tool , click-shiftclick method. there way can more consistent results brush tool , click-shiftclick method. pressing down harder wacom pen doesn't seem make difference in line quality.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
