Can I edit cross-reference building blocks?

hi,

i've inherited template believe has custom cross-reference building blocks. 1 of them <xref>, believe, making cross-references blue (for example, figure & page cross reference format = <xref>figure\ <$paranumonly><default ¶ font> on page\ <$pagenum>).

 

can modify xref building block?

thanks.

<xref> appears naming character format.

format > character > designer ...

character tag: [ xref ]

color: [ blue or other named color blue ]

 

change chfmt's color def, definition of named color, or revise xref format.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
