help with cropping

i have adobe photoshop (64-bit) 5.5.  takes forever simple crop on photo.  please help!

you may try reset photoshop preferences using video below. can fix buggy tools!

windows

under windows xp preference file found at:
%windir%\documents , settings\[username]\application data\adobe\photoshopcs6\adobe photoshop cs6 settings\adobe photoshop cs6 prefs.psp

 

under vista , windows 7 or 8, preference file found at:

users\[username]\appdata\roaming\adobe\adobe photoshop cs6\adobe photoshop cs6 settings\adobe photoshop cs6 prefs.psp

 

 

macintosh

on macos preference file found at:

/users/[username]/library/preferences/adobe photoshop cs6 settings/adobe photoshop cs6 prefs.psp


please note: on macos 10.7 , later, apple has hidden library folder, may need make visible - location same macos x versions. instructions accessing hidden user library files: access hidden user library files | mac os 10.7 lion

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
