How do I place an image and insert a different photo for the "mouse down" state?

i have placed image within accordian widget , when select "mouse down" area in states dialog box, click "fill" in toolbar , insert photo want display when image clicked image "covered up" placed image , not seen in states dialog box.

 

i have done before when made rectangles , placed images in rectangles. realized cannot add alternative text images in rectangles frustrating reason.

 

how place , image , have different image mouse down state?

this effect can achieved when use images rectangle fill. , mentioned above, cannot add alternative text images because added fill , not image.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
