I upgraded and now the multistate buttons aren't working right

the large words supposed orange when resting, color dropshadow on rollover , color on click...the rollovers not supposed show resting state, orange color , dropshadows cut off.

it working before!

now don't know how fix it. pain when had perfect before , upgrade goofed up!

anyone know how fix this?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
