Problems with the vibrance adjustment slider

i trying understand why vibrance adjustment slider not working in cs6 dsc_0324-3 copy.jpgdsc_0324-2 copy.jpg

the attached images before , after shot change add vibrance adjustment layer , move vibrance slider 1% - have searched internet discussion on can't find other tutorials on how vibrance adjustment slider should work - nothing on troubleshooting when not.  can me out?  guess have setting elsewhere in program corrupting adjustment.  appreciated.

i seem have similar problem.  have photoshop cc , cs6 installed.  on both programs slight change vibrance slider (1%) turns image green.  have looked @ channels etc. , can't find causing this.  not gradual change @ - movement - green.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
