Sumif function in javascript?

hi all,

i have simple form used people taking payments , have subtotals of each payment method on form.

 

example:

cash     50.00

visa     100.00

cash     75.00

visa     200.00    

 

total cash:  125.00

total visa:  300.00

total payments:  425.00

 

there couple of hundred entries , management wants use pdf fillable rather excel.  can use script similar sumif function in excel? 

 

thanks help.  , did read answer similar question in livecycle forums i'm afraid kind of lost me answer.

with acrobat javascript have write own function task. how programmed depend upon how name fields.with multiple fields , multiple payment options there multiple ways solve problem , possibly 1 dynamic , automatically adjust addition of new fields or removal of fields , automatically adjust additional payment methods.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
