Thread: Boot freezes with 2.6.35-31 generic-pae on Ubuntu 10.04

hello people, happy 2012 way.

i'm using ubuntu 10.04 , i'm trying boot kernel 2.6.35-31 generic-pae. seems go fine until line

code:
udev: starting version 151
there booting process freezes, , doesn't go on @ all.

version 2.6.35-30 generic present same problem too. 2.6.35-25 generic works. it's funny, isn't it? why newer versions stop working @ point? how fix this?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
