i want change os ubuntu. here's did...

- boot flash disk, select "command line install" option

- http proxy information: blank then press continue

possible reasons error are: incorrect mirror specified; mirror not available (possibly due unreliable network connection); mirror broken(for example because invalid release found); mirror not support correct ubuntu version.


additional details may available in /var/log/syslog or virtual console 4.


please check specified mirror or try different one.

changed mirror, still error appears(the 1 inside quote). suggestions? tia!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
