Thread: Install windows drive in a Xubuntu machine

hi,

i have desktop machine recent version on xubutu installed.

i have blank drive want load windows xp , dual boot between 2 os’s.

what best way of approaching this?

my original idea disconnect xubuntu drive, connect blank drive , install xp, reconnect xubuntu drive expect see both partitions listed in grub boot menu, surely easy?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
