Thread: installing burg

hello!

trying install burg on 500gb hd partitioned 2 drives linux installed on 80gb partition (mint --> know not ubuntu have gotten more these forums mint ones, use use 10.4 , use same dependicies don't think matters much..) here list of hds


device boot start end blocks id system
/dev/sdb1 * 2048 154296319 77147136 7 hpfs/ntfs/exfat
/dev/sdb2 154298366 156299263 1000449 5 extended
/dev/sdb5 154298368 156299263 1000448 82 linux swap / solaris


question mbr? on sdb1 has * under boot? install using hd0 or hd0,1 or hd1? don't want screw up. process following located here , process don't want screw this:
sudo burg-install "(hd0)"
remember substitute ‘hd0′ drive on mbr installed.

advice appreciated. thanks!!!

the mbr should on windows partition sdb1.

how booting ubuntu? meaning, using windows boot selection?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
