Thread: lubuntu and windows shares - how?

i've got stock lubuntu install (10.10) can't see xp shares (any network @ tbh).

explorer window (pcman) has go->network drives menu item, reports 'the specified location not supported' , address reported network:///

machine has got samba client installed , measure installed full package.

i not use lubuntu don't know how can when similar happens ubuntu or xubuntu it's because there packages missing:

sudo apt-get install gvfs-backends

sudo apt-get install gvfs-fuse

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
