Thread: No gui in virtual Ubuntu install

hi, brand new ubuntu. trying install ubuntu 32bits under virtual pc 2007. installation goes well, except when seems completed, not have gui desktop, rather console prompt user@machinename:~$ should gui interface ? thank in advance prompt answer - cdt - thierry
