Thread: skype webcam in 10.04 not working

in ubuntu 10.04 have not gotten webcam work skype, although worked in cheese. think else in skype works. appreciated. thanks.

try launching skype terminal with
code:
ld_preload=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skype

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
