hi all,

trying upgrade virtual box 4.0 virtual box 4.1, when trying realized wasn't working checked online found had remove virtualbox 4.0 before install 4.1 version, did.

after rebooted system on restarting, gone desktop, sidebar icons , top panel holds wireless connect bar, empathy bar, volume, time , settings gone.

im trying upload files on-line can reinstall ubuntu try set right dont know how connect internet without top panel holds internet signal thingy can click , connect wind mobile broadband stick.

best advise don't want lose files , when tried sending usb drive cant.

when tried using ubuntu live cd , wouldn't let me access files keeps telling me have no permission access file after tried changing permission.

please can do.

if create file able access after reinstall seeing can't access now?

upload files online can't access web. if can connect broadband stick(dongle) web, upload files 4shared.com, reinstall ubuntu ocelot 11.10 , download files easy, dont know how connect via command line.

advise appreciated.

i may missunderstanfing issue, can connect singing in in 2d unity? - sign out , select cog next box enter username , select 2d option?
