Thread: WUBI fails

i'm trying install ubuntu onto windows 7 machine in slave drive.
have dowloaded .iso file , have downloaded wubi.exe file.
each time try run warning box titled "pyrun.exe-no disk" , message within "there no disk in drive. please insert disk drive /device/harddisk2/dr2
cancel >>try again >> continue"

box refuses go away , have reboot rid of it.

doing wrong ?
in anticipation...

i'm having same problem here.
trying run wubi on windows 7. fails message pyrun.exe:

no disk
"there no disk in drive. please insert disk drive \device\harddisk3\dr7.

ideas?

[edit] never mind. pressed "continue" several times , went on. not elegant anyway...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
