Why don't my margins print correctly?

i have created booklet-form document in word, , converted pdf.  margins in word, , appear correct when view in acrobat.  but, when print it, margins off.  i've tried "printing image" - didn't work.  i've tried printing @ "actual size"  instead of fit page, didn't work either.

thanks in advance help!

when have set auto-rotate , center?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
