Baseline Exposure

can tell me what, if any, baseline exposure value of d800, or how find it? d300 had value of +0.50ev, can't work out value found either.

i worked out.

 

i downloaded exiftool, converted camera's raw file dng, moved same folder, , ran exiftool filename argument, redirecting output text file.

 

it looked this:

exiftool _name123.dng > d800.txt

 

i know adobe camera raw boosts exposure of d800 0.35ev.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
