Can I use Ac Reader 10 as well as Ac Pro 7?

i have acrobat pro 7.1.0 installed on win 7 computer. computer uses ie 10, , ac 7 appears add-ons. ac 7 not download pdf files within ie 10.  so, loaded ac reader 11, appears add-on in ie. disabled ac 7 add-ons, after download pdf in browser, browser crashes , blames acrobat .  can't download pdfs using right click/save target, bypassing browser,  because many academic websites take html "accept terms , conditions" page before going directly show pdf in browser.  ac pro 7, want. how can use reader 11 in ie browse , download pdfs , use older ac pro work on pdf files?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
