Could not print “image name” because there is not enough memory (RAM).

i cannot print photoshop cs5. message:

 

could not print “image name” because there not enough memory (ram).

 

i'm using mac os 10.6.8, 8 gb ram. have tried setting memory usage 100% of ram (7379 mb me). "ideal range" 4058-5313 mb. cannot print anything, not 20 kb  file because error message.

 

i've tried unistalling & reinstalling, see if did anything. didn't help.

does anyione have ideas problem is?

(i don't have problem printing other programs, gimp, want print photoshop because of way allows adjust part of image print when cropping image during printing.)

that of generic message.  can mean not big enough scratch disk file, hd filled (should have 10-20% free), but  not ram problem 8 gigs. 

 

unistalling , reinstall little good.  first aid reset preferences.  on mac start ps , immeditaely hold down cmd option shift keys.  if fast enough reset window.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
