Map module - can't figure it out

my photos have gps data in them , run them through geosetter before loading them lr.   converted lr 4.    think i'm going nuts.  in lr3 not if click on arrow beside gps location goes google map can street level location? forget details i'm pretty sure i've done that.  ever since microsoft pro photo tools stopped working don't street level location (address , street), when wanted address in lr 3 it.

 

now if click on arrow appears nonsense.  image selected not image golden selected image icon see bunch of things on map.  if selected image on map out of it?  don't want images on map, want information swear available in lr 3.  seems me worthless me. 

 

am missing something?  after of fuss on map module, seems worse me lr 3.

as far know, gps features in lr4 work differently in lr3, , cannot google maps directly lr4.

 

there nothing stopping copying gps coordinates lightroom , pasting them google maps, give street address in many cases.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
