Thread: Can't boot into windows after installing ubuntu 11.10

i have installed ubuntu 11.10 in hp 620 laptop, every thing went fine untill upgraded , installed few packages,then rebooted window 7 , ubuntu, afterward when wanted boot window got massage "gruq missing press ctl+alt restart" did press keys , restart time no massage displayed , window 7 bootloader disappeared boot menu. oops can't boot window. please.

in terminal try

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
