Thread: git send-email showing atlast Unable to initialize SMTP properly.

please help

when i'm using git send-email command email plain-text getting following error:

unable initialize smtp properly. there wrong config? @ /usr/lib/git-core/git-send-email line 961, <fin> line 3.

i guess there wrong config options smtp in git config. please .

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
