Thread: How to change windows colours?

it seems me each time install newer version end asking question... time have kubuntu 11.10 and, once again, cannot find how change colours.

used simple, in program called kcontrol. fake window appeared , click on part of it, example top bar, , select colour it. when satisfied overall effect clicked "apply" , windows displayed in chosen colours. change colour of task bar @ bottom of screen without having download don't know how many themes before found 1 had colour wanted. see mean?

there's got way of doing in kubuntu 11.10 cannot find it... please help.

found packages kde-style-skulpture , kwin-style-dekorator , installed them cannot find how run them. typing kwin-style-dekorator or dekorator says "command not found". in "system settings" there "desktop effects" , "desktop appearance" neither offers opportunity this. i'm puzzled. in kde center talks changing colours if icon of "system settings". no such icon.

related: know how put picture of choice desktop background, please?
