Thread: Panel in Xubuntu

i switched ubuntu install xubuntu. panel not loading on startup, added application in application autostart list under session , startup.

thereafter, 5 instances of panel launched on boot. removed autostart list continue many instances on each boot, number seems growing.

know how can fix , neither 0 instances nor 10, 1?

many in advance.

the thing can think of entirely reset settings.

don't know settings held panel, in place data; empty home folder of hidden folders , files (i.e. folders , files beginning "."); log out; log in again.

if still problem, suspect got corrupted during installation.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
