Thread: X fails to start 50% of the times

hi all,

installed ubuntu 11.10 on brand new hp pavilion dv7 6199sl. dual-vga notebook:

the problem: x fails start @ boot 50% of times.

think problem it's related intel video driver, since can't see reference radeon video driver (the 1 used discrete vga). don't understand why, x starts without problems, x ends "no screen found" message.
