What are my options for running AME on a file server type computer/Linux or Virtualized Windows?

i came onboard web development boutique, marketing guy.  of i'm doing editing , rendering videos using adobe premiere pro.  since we're mac-based shop, i'm stuck using macs. 

 

don't worry, premiere working fine on mac - editing, @ least.  problem macs use don't have graphics card supports cuda.  today got co-worker ask me edit , render file client, said i'd happy to.  came 15 minutes in length, , since screen recording, wanted @ least 720p. 

 

he unhappy when said rendering take 3 , half hours, wanted have before went home weekend.

 

additionally, whenever render on mac, takes entire process.  so, unless want fool "renice," , take chances won't destablize whole machine, can render stuff out overnight, pretty much. 

 

earlier, heard mention of our developers find useful have in-house file server.  ceo has been receptive getting desktop pc contains cuda enabled graphics card, long doesn't serve 1 purpose. 

 

he's asked spec. 

 

i've found sub $900 configuration should work, before deliver spec, wanted know best ways set computer, , options have.

 

a) there native compiler linux can take premiere pro projects , render them out using cuda (gtx 650).  command line fine?  if so, i'll install system multi-user linux.

 

if not. 

 

b) there way virtualized windows guest running on linux running adobe media encoder render, taking advantage of cuda processor in gpu?  (gtx 650)  if so, works, i'll use x11 login computer, , boot virtual windows session when need it, , else can take advantage of command line linux. 

 

otherwise, i'm stuck running file server/render machine windows computer, , make poor file server indeed, , of limited utility other people on team.
