i have tried multiple times downloading cs6 master collection onto mac need tnhe trial version , everytime have gone through trouble shooting routine of turning computer off exiting applications need have assignment working on everytime @ end of installation message installation has encountered error. installer failed initalize. help???

if installer failing initialize want review pdapp.log file determine cause.  can find details on how locate , interpret installation logs @ troubleshoot install logs | cs5, cs5.5, cs6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html.

 

you can try following :

go applications / utilities / activity monitor on mac , remove process "'aam update notifier' or 'aam registration notifier'". try installer again.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
