Acrobat Reader XI - doesn't start | let me accept EULA

hi everybody.

 

i updated acrobat reader x acrobat reader xi (as standalone application). since (a week ago) i'm not able open pdf files: program starts, closes. tried uninstall-clean-install again, downgrading acrobat reader x again, nothing happened.

last time tried reinstall latest version of acrobat reader xi, pop-up window told me eula display crashed.

 

how can solve problem? suggestion?

 

btw own windows 7 64-bit laptop.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
