compatiblity problem with cs 5 and windows 8?

is there compatibility problems indesign cs 5 , windows 8? choppy on computer. windows 8 laptop 32 gb of ram , 2 tb disk space. shouldn't problem lack of resources. wondering if there can to make less choppy. scroll bars on side , bottom won't scroll need use space bar fine can annoying @ times. side menu boxes wouldn't work correctly will. tried reinstall program , didn't change anything. tried using windows troubleshooting can tell computer use old settings older programs. once in while it'll crash. indesign works great on windows 7 desktop. didn't know if there preset or might resolve issues. can use program have fight not worth using on laptop. thanks

start setting live screen drawing delayed in prefs. can try running in compatibility mode.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
