ConfigMgr.exe crash on load

i have robohelp server installed on windows 2008 r2 x64 machine iis7, tomcat 7 , java 7. esx virtual machine accessed through vsphere client.

it installed me , far know there no errors when installing , configuring robohelp server first time. works expected default context (robohelp), can access admin, publish documentation, , have legacy html documentation being served , it's fine , dandy.

however, need create new context , cannot. whenever open configuration manager, crashes following details:

problem signature:   problem event name:    appcrash   application name:    configmgr.exe   application version:    1.0.0.1   application timestamp:    4d08d1d2   fault module name:    configmgr.exe   fault module version:    1.0.0.1   fault module timestamp:    4d08d1d2   exception code:    c0000005   exception offset:    0000000000049e8d   os version:    6.1.7601.2.1.0.272.7   locale id:    4105   additional information 1:    4238   additional information 2:    4238e836a2320692f474efd7694039a5   additional information 3:    e027   additional information 4:    e02751af75d66a9fc8c6059c5cb41685

as test, tried reproducing setup myself on same os, in local virtual machine through vmware workstation. oddly enough, same problem (not sure if exception codes same however). i'd know how resolve problem of course, in meantime there way create context manually editing files directly?

you don't want going down manual creation route. if possible involve editing / creation of many files in different locations you'd need phd follow instructions.

the fact have replicated problem points issue configuration manager itself. i'm not sure. it's installation straightforward should work. i'd suggest has being virtual machine accessed through client. configuration haven't come across. people double check setup , let know if find anything. c0000005 exception code seems point access violation. perhaps can them focus on area.
