Is it possible to create an animated GIF with transparency in AME?

i have adobe media encoder cs5.5 windows 7.  possible save video (i saved uncompressed avi after effects) animated gif transparency in (eg. black=transparent)?

i have virtualdub 1.9.11 don't see transparency option in that.

it's web i'd normal web background show in black (ie. should transparent) parts of gif.

create animated gifs using photoshop. can import video photoshop , use file > save web command create animated gif.
