hi, i'm on director mx2004, , i'm testing little application i'm putting together. it's audio player , when it's running 20 minutes or so, stops , pop window opens following message: microsoft visual c++ runtime library
this application has requested runtime terminate in unusual way.
please contact application’s support team more information. does know causing issue? there way find out , solve it?  thanks.

how playing audio files? third-party xtras involved?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
